There are three 3B apartments. Since the building can’t support ADA compliance, this building will be Section-8 only. However, this only means that the subsidy is to the household, and not the unit. This is fine enough. Since the business that was there will have to move for the management office, there will only be the residential apartments. each apartment will be $1,760 per month. This comes to a total based on 100% occupancy to be $5,280. This is not enough, but the benefit is three 3B households have an affordable place to live. As mentioned, I could have just as easily to not have any any realty company, and not contribute to the good of people that are low income.
